Installing on Linux (disconnected scenario)

A complete deployment of License Metric Tool on Linux requires the installation of the License Metric Tool server and the DB2 database. Additionally, the disconnected (stand-alone) scanner must be installed on every computer from which you want to collect software inventory data.

The following procedure describes the simplest installation path which uses the All-in-One installer to install the License Metric Tool server and DB2 database on a single computer. Installation of DB2 on a separate Linux computer is also supported, but not recommended and thus not described step by step.
