Continuous delivery support model

IBM Business Automation Workflow adheres to a Single Stream Continuous Delivery (SSCD) software support lifecycle policy. For more information, see IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Integration Designer Software Support Lifecycle Addendum.

Version numbering scheme

Instead of the traditional version.release.modification.fix numbering scheme, versions start with the year they are released in, and end with the new number of the update package for that year. For example, 21.0.3 refers to the third update in 2021 that uses this numbering scheme. In 2022, the second update has the version number 22.0.2.

Tags indicate information that is specific to a particular runtime environment. When a tag is at the beginning of a topic, the whole topic applies only to the environment indicated.

• The  Traditional:  tag indicates information that applies only to Business Automation Workflow in the traditional runtime environment.
• The  Containers:  tag indicates information that applies only to Business Automation Workflow in a containers environment.
• The tag indicates information that applies specifically to function that is related to content developed in IBM Integration Designer and that runs in the Advanced or AdvancedOnly environment. These functions work only in the traditional environment. Where the advanced tag is used, the traditional tag is not also used.
