Lock Screen

The Lock Screen settings configure functions on an Android device even if the device screen is locked.

Note: The Lock Screen policy is supported only on SAFE 4.0+ devices.

Wallpapers settings

The following table describes the settings that you can configure for wallpapers on an Android device even if the device screen is locked:

Policy setting	Description	Supported devices
Low resolution	The device can use wallpaper images with a resolution of less than or equal to 800 pixels.	SAFE 4.0+
Medium resolution	The device can use wallpaper images with a resolution greater than 800 pixels and less than, but equal to 1024 pixels.	SAFE 4.0+
High resolution	The device can use wallpaper images with a resolution greater than 1024 pixels.	SAFE 4.0+

The following table describes the emergency settings that you can configure on an Android device even if the device screen is locked:

Enterprise emergency phone number	The emergency contact number for the enterprise.	SAFE 4.0+
Label for emergency phone number	The name of the emergency phone number contact.	SAFE 4.0+
Emergency phone icon	The icon that is displayed for the emergency phone contact.	SAFE 4.0+
Top position	The placement value that is used for the top of the emergency phone icon on the device screen.	SAFE 4.0+
Bottom position	The placement value that is used for the bottom of the emergency phone icon on the device screen. The supported values are 0 - 100. The bottom position value must be more than the top position value. If you use a label for the emergency phone icon, the bottom position must be at least 15% more than the top position.	SAFE 4.0+
Alignment	The location of the emergency phone icon on the device screen: align center, top, bottom, left, or right.	SAFE 4.0+
Show background	The background that is displayed on the device screen for the emergency phone contact.	SAFE 4.0+

The following table describes the settings that you can configure on an Android device even if the device screen is locked:

Policy	Description	Supported devices
Transparency	The lock screen on the device can display different levels of transparency. The supported values are 0 - 100, where 0 is transparent and 100 is opaque.	SAFE 4.0+
Overlay type	The type of overlay to use on the lock screen. The supported overlay types are Enterprise Details or Overlay Images. For Overlay Images, upload the images in the same sequence from top to bottom so that the overlay is displayed on the device.	SAFE 4.0+
