Installing and configuring Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash with Explorer 10.2 Fix Pack 10

As of IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer 10.2 Fix Pack 10, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) are no longer bundled with the installation package and must be downloaded and installed separately.

Note: The supported ELK version is 7.2.x or higher (but less than version 8). IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer 10.2 Fix Pack 10 was fully tested on ELK 7.2.1.

Attention: The platform of ELK installation must match your IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer installation.

Important: Be sure to set the correct heap size for Elasticsearch and Logstash before installing IBM Spectrum LSF Explorer. Refer to https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/7.x/heap-size.html for details.
