Volume Usage

The Volume Usage page shows the aggregate volume data for transfer usage for your organization.

Transfer Usage Panel

The top pane displays the organization's transfer usage as a bar graph, with the "in" data (uploads) in green, and the "out" data (downloads) in blue.

The total In and Out usage for the selected time period displays at the right.

Filtering Options

You can filter your display of volume usage data by the following:

  • Entity: such as node, workspace, or user.
  • Time range: either a preset option or a custom option. Note that times are in UTC.

Additional Data Tables

Depending on the entity you selected for the filtering options above (Organization, Nodes, and so on), additional data tables display:

  • Organization selected
    • Total usage for each associated workspace
    • Total usage for each associated node
  • Nodes selected
    • Total usage for each associated workspace
  • Workspaces selected
    • Total usage for each associated node
  • Users selected
    • Total usage for each associated workspace
    • Total usage for each associated node

These tables display the total transfer volume, "in" volume, "out" volume, and total transfers for the time period you selected in the filtering options above. By default, they show a maximum of five entries; to see the complete list, click View All.

To see details about the individual transfers included in the table totals, export your search results to see session IDs, contents, access keys, and much more.

Note: The term Trusted source in a column refers to a transfer client or some other source that is not a workspace or a human user.
Note: The term Public link in a column means that the file access occurred through a public link sent to user. Since the link is public, the user identify can't be determined.
