Using the CICS service provider

zosConnect-2.0 Applies to zosConnect-2.0.

This CICS® service provider that is supplied with IBM® z/OS® Connect connects to CICS using an IPIC connection. Both COMMAREA and channels with multiple containers are supported.

Services are defined by using service archive (.sar) files.

The CICS transaction ID to be used for a service can be defined for the service or for all services by using an IPIC connection. For more information, see Transaction override precedence
