You can create links between
related UML diagrams in the same project or in different projects,
so that you can navigate from an open diagram to other linked diagrams.
About this task
To link one diagram to another diagram:
Procedure
- Open a diagram that you want to link to another diagram.
- In the Project Explorer view, locate
the diagram that you want to link to.
- Click and drag the diagram file to an empty space in the
open diagram where you want to insert a link icon.
Results
A link, or a shortcut, is created between the two diagrams
and a link icon appears in the open diagram. You can double-click
the link icon to open the linked diagram in the diagram editor.
