Post-upgrade configurations

After upgrading Sterling B2B Integrator and validating the upgrade, you may need to do additional configuration depending on your system and business needs.

This is the last step in the process of upgrading Sterling B2B Integrator. The following diagram shows the upgrade steps.

The upgrade process for Sterling B2B Integrator consists of the following five steps.

  1. Planning
  2. Prerequisites
  3. Preparing systems
  4. Upgrading
  5. Post-upgrade configurations
Note:
Upgrading to IBM B2B Sterling Integrator v6.0.x and accessing /filegateway in the Windows environment results in an HTTP 503 error. To resolve this error perform the following:

  1. Stop IBM B2B Sterling Integrator.

  2. Delete filegateway and filegateway_exploded directories from the install/noapp/deploy directory.

  3. Remove below entries from dynamicClassPath.cfg.in if available:
    <install>/noapp/deploy/filegateway_exploded/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/isomorphic_core_rpc.jar
<install>/noapp/deploy/filegateway/webapp/WEB-INF/lib/isomorphic_core_rpc.jar

  4. Run setupfiles.sh.

  5. Restart IBM B2B Sterling Integrator.
