Upgrade scenarios
The way you upgrade IBM® Sterling B2B Integrator depends on your current version and the upgrade type.
When you are using IIM to upgrade your installation, consider the following upgrade scenarios:

| Upgrading from v5.2.6.x on the same application server but in a different directory | Upgrading to a new server or directory with IIM in GUI mode |
| Upgrading from v5.2.6.x on the same application server and the same directory | Upgrading v5.2.6.x to the same directory with IIM in GUI mode |
| Upgrading from v5.2.5.x or earlier and using a new application server | Upgrading to a new server or directory with IIM in GUI mode |
