LPAR Summary History attributes

The Historical LPAR summary attributes enable you to view historical information about various resources belonging to an LPAR.

Actual MSUs Consumed (RMF metric) Actual MSUs/Hr consumed by this LPAR (GCPs only).

CPC Serial Number (RMF metric) The six-character CPC serial number, for example: 056789.

Defined MSU Capacity (RMF metric) The defined capacity of the LPAR. If the defined capacity is not specified, this value is the entitled capacity.

Effective Logical CP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective logical CP percentage.

Effective Logical ICF Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective logical ICF percentage.

Effective Logical IFL Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective logical IFL percentage.

Effective Logical zAAP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective logical zAAP percentage.

Effective Logical zIIP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective logical zIIP percentage.

Effective Physical CP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective physical CP percentage.

Effective Physical ICF Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective physical ICF percentage.

Effective Physical IFL Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective physical IFL percentage.

Effective Physical zAAP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective physical zAAP percentage.

Effective Physical zIIP Percent (RMF metric) LPAR effective physical zIIP percentage.

LPAR Name (RMF metric) The name of the logical partition.

Notes

  • Partitions identified by the name PHYSICAL are not configured partitions. Data reported in these lines includes the time during which a physical CPU was busy, but the time could not be attributed to a specific logical partition.
  • Starting with z9 processors, IFLs (Integrated Facility for Linux) and zAAPs are reported separately and no longer as ICFs (Internal Coupling Facility).

Managed System A z/OS operating system in your enterprise that is being monitored by an OMEGAMON for z/OS agent. Valid value is a character string with a maximum length of 32 bytes.

Recording End Time (RMF metric) Recording time of data represented by a given row. For RMF-based near-term history, this is the time of the end of the RMF Monitor III reporting interval.

Recording End Time UTC (RMF metric) The UTC time at the end of the RMF reporting interval for the current row of near-term historical data. This time is displayed in the following format:

mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss (Tivoli Enterprise Portal)

yy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss (3270)

Where:

  • mm = Month
  • dd = Day of the month
  • yy = Year
  • hh = Hour
  • mm = Minute
  • ss = Seconds

This time is stored as a string no longer than 16 characters in the format CYYMMDDHHMMSSmmm (for example, 1020315064501000 for 03/15/02 06:45:01), where:

  • C = Century (0 for 20th, 1 for 21st)
  • Y = Year
  • M = Month
  • D = Day
  • H = Hour
  • M = Minute
  • S = Second
  • m = Millisecond

Recording Start Time (RMF metric) Interval start recording time of data represented by a given row.

Recording Start Time UTC (RMF metric) The UTC time at the start of the RMF reporting interval for the current row of near-term historical data. This time is displayed in the following format:

mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss (Tivoli Enterprise Portal)

yy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss (3270)

Where:

  • mm = Month
  • dd = Day of the month
  • yy = Year
  • hh = Hour
  • mm = Minute
  • ss = Seconds

This time is stored as a string no longer than 16 characters in the format CYYMMDDHHMMSSmmm (for example, 1020315064501000 for 03/15/02 06:45:01), where:

  • C = Century (0 for 20th, 1 for 21st)
  • Y = Year
  • M = Month
  • D = Day
  • H = Hour
  • M = Minute
  • S = Second
  • m = Millisecond

RMF Status (RMF metric) Status indications for availability of RMF and PROCU data.

Sample Period Sample period in seconds. This attribute is not displayed in the workspace by default.

SMF ID SMF ID as defined in the IEASYM or IEASYS PARMLIB members.
