KN3 DVIPA Connections attributes

Use the DVIPA connections table to display connections routed through the sysplex distributor to the dynamic VIPA.

Affinity Use Count The number of currently established connections associated with this affinity. A valid value is an integer.

Collection Time The time and date of the data sampling. This time is displayed in the following format:

mm/dd/yy hh:mm:ss (Tivoli Enterprise Portal)

yy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss (3270)

Where:

  • mm = Month
  • dd = Day of the month
  • yy = Year
  • hh = Hour
  • mm = Minute
  • ss = Seconds

This time is stored as a string no longer than 16 characters in the format CYYMMDDHHMMSSmmm (for example, 1020315064501000 for 03/15/02 06:45:01), where:

  • C = Century (0 for 20th, 1 for 21st)
  • Y = Year
  • M = Month
  • D = Day
  • H = Hour
  • M = Minute
  • S = Second
  • m = Millisecond

Configured Timed Affinity The affinity value defined in the TIMEDAFFINITY parameter on the VIPADISTRIBUTE statement. A valid value is an integer.

Destination IP Address The destination IP address for this connection. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

Destination Port The source port number for the connection. If the source IP address and/or port values are zero, the entry does not represent an established connection; instead, it represents an affinity between a client IP address and a dynamic VIPA destination address and port. A valid value is an integer.

DVIPA XCF IP Address The destination XCF IP address. For connections to non-z/OS hosts (when Route Encapsulation is Yes, a value of 1), this represents the target IP address of the non-z/OS host. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

Encapsulation Indicates whether generic routing encapsulation (if IPV4) or IP encapsulation (for IPv6) is used to route to non-z/OS hosts. A valid value is an integer. Values appear on the workspace as follows:

  • 0 = No
  • 1 = Yes

Gateway IP Address The gateway IP address used to send packets to the target stack. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

GRE Destination IP Address The generic routing encapsulation (GRE) destination IP address for this connection. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

GRE Source IP Address The generic routing encapsulation (GRE) source IP address for this connection. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

Interface Name The name of the interface for the route being used to distribute packets to the target stack, or *NONE* if there is no route available. A valid value is a string of up to 16 characters.

Origin Node The unique identifier for the TCP/IP stack being displayed. A valid value is a string of up to 32 characters.

Policy Action Name The policy action name configured to the policy agent. A valid value is a string of up to 48 characters.

Policy Rule Name The policy rule name configured to the policy agent. A valid value is a string of up to 48 characters.

QDIO Accelerator Indicates whether QDIO Accelerator is used for this connection. A valid value is an integer. Values appear on the workspace as follows:

  • 0 = No
  • 1 = Yes

Source IP Address The source IP address for this connection. A valid value is a string of up to 45 characters.

Source Port The source port number for the connection. If the source IP address and/or port values are zero, the entry does not represent an established connection; instead, it represents an affinity between a client IP address and a dynamic VIPA destination address and port. A valid value is an integer.

Sysplex Name The name of the sysplex that this LPAR is a member of. A valid value is a string of up to 8 characters.

System ID The System Management Facility (SMF) system identifier for the z/OS system where the OMEGAMON for Networks monitoring agent collected the data. A valid value is a string of up to 4 characters.

TCPIP STC Name The TCP/IP started task name. A valid value is a string of up to 8 characters.

Timed Affinity Time Left The number of seconds left before the affinity between the client IP address and the DVIPA destination IP address and port is removed. A valid value is an integer.

VIPARoute Indicates whether the VIPAROUTE parameter is being used to route packets to the target stack for this connection. A valid value is an integer. Values appear on the workspace as follows:

  • 32 = Unavailable
  • 64 = No
  • 128 = Yes
