Agent components generate various error messages to inform the user about any errors.
Most messages require user action to rectify the error. You must know how to locate
and read these messages for troubleshooting.
Locations of message logs IBM Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Agent generates log files that contain messages and trace information. These files contain information about the events and processing being performed. Log files provide a complete record of system activity, not just of problems. The log files are created when you start the IBM Tivoli Monitoring components.Generating and viewing log files OMEGAMON for Storage monitoring agent are created as defined in the started procedure when you start the Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Agent .
