Verify that the power supplies are connected and seated properly. See PWRSPLY.
Power on the system. See Powering on and powering off the system.
Is the reference code 1xxx2600?
- No: Continue with the next step.
- Yes: Replace the system backplane. For more information, see System parts. This ends the procedure.
Is the reference code 1xxx2610 or 1xxx2620?
- No: Continue with step 7.
- Yes: Continue with the next step.

Perform the action indicated for your system in the following table:

8408-44E or 8408-E8E	Replace the following items, one at a time, until the problem is resolved: Power supplies at locations U`n`-E`x`. System backplane at location U`n`-P2. This ends the procedure.
9080-MHE, 9080-MME, 9119-MHE, or 9119-MME	Replace the following items, one at a time, until the problem is resolved: Voltage regulator module at location U`n`-P1-C62. Power supplies at locations U`n`-E`x`. System backplane at location U`n`-P1. This ends the procedure.
