Complete the following steps:

1. Does the SRC that sent you here begin with a 50B1 or are you working with an attached 5887 disk expansion unit?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the midplane of the 5887 disk expansion unit. See the table at the end of this procedure for location and part number information.
2. Does the SRC that sent you here begin with a 78D1 or are you working with an attached 5147-024, ESLL, or ESLS storage enclosure?
   • No: Continue with the next step.
   • Yes: Replace the midplane of the 5147-024, ESLL, or ESLS storage enclosure. See the table at the end of this procedure for location and part number information.
3. Replace the device backplane. See the following table for location and part number information.
