The Hardware Management Console generates E2xx error codes when it encounters a Licensed Internal Code problem.

| E2BB1250 | The system monitor that checks for HMC hardware failures has shutdown. This is usually the result of the system syslog being shutdown. You will need to shut down and restart the HMC. | |
| E2FF450F | The log manager cannot read the expected amount of data from the log file. When this occurs, the log manager will copy the current log file to iqyysave.log, start a new log file, and copy the error log to the new log file. If possible, collect the iqyysave.log file with the error data for reference. There is no other action required. | |
| E2xxxxxx | Licensed Internal Code failure on the HMC.
