Replacing an internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB cable with the system power turned off

Find information about replacing an internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB cable with the system power turned off.

To replace the internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB cable, complete the following steps:

  1. Find the package that contains the new internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB cable and remove it from the static-protective package.
  2. Connect the new internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB cable to the system planar.
  3. Connect the new internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) power supply to the system planar. See Figure 1.

  4. Route the internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3) USB and power supply cables up through the side of the chassis cable management hole as shown in Figure 2.

  5. Connect the USB cable to the back of the internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3).
  6. Connect the power supply cable to the back of the internal RDX docking station (FC EUA3). See Figure 3.
