Bulk ftps (sftp) is a webservice which enables downloading of a package using the ftps/sftp command or other download commands like wget. All downloads using "bulk FTPS" will require a secure (encrypted SSL based) FTP client connection. AIX users as an example, should use "ftp -s" (the -s option on the standard AIX ftp command will enable SSL communication). And then be sure and enter "passive" mode immediately. For windows users you should use a FTP client that supports SSL or SSH. A temporary space is created which contains the package. This space will be available for the next 72 hours.
