PM53104: UNABLE TO SAVE AN XML FILE WITH OMS WHEN PATH INCLUDES HEBREW CHARACTERS

Error description

• You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and would like to save an
  XML file with OMS syntax to a folder which includes Hebrew
  characters.
  For example you use the syntax below where the xxx in the path
  represents the Hebrew characters you use in your path name.
  
  OMS
    /SELECT ALL
    /DESTINATION FORMAT=OXML IMAGES=NO
     OUTFILE='C:\temp\xxx\test.xml.
  
  CTABLES
    /VLABELS VARIABLES=VAR1 DISPLAY=LABEL
    /TABLE BY VAR1 [C][COUNT F40.0]
    /CATEGORIES VARIABLES=VAR1 ORDER=A KEY=VALUE EMPTY=EXCLUDE.
  
  OMSEND.
  
  When you run the syntax you get the warning below and no XML
  file is created:
  
  OMSEND: File C:\temp\xxx\test.xml. The destination file creation
  failed.
  Execution of this command stops.
  
  This was reported to IBM SPSS Development. As a workaround use a
  path name which does not include any Hebrew characters.
  This issue is expected to be addressed with IBM SPSS 20 FixPack
  1.
