APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You have configured your Statistics 20 Server to be started by a
startup script on boot/reboot.  However clients cannot connect
when the server daemon is started in this way.  Manually
stopping/killing the statisticsd process and restarting it,
allows clients to connect without incident.

Local fix

  • Manually stop/kill the statisticsd process and restart it after
the machine has booted.
