APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • You are building CHAID models and when you try to build models
on certain data you see the following error when you execute the
    model builder:

"Impossible case in file "at_component_variable.cpp", line 84"

Local fix

  • This is caused by input variables to the model builder of
date\time\timestamp storage and nominal measurement level.
date\time\timestamp fields are not supported for tree models and
if they have continuos storage they are filtered out when you
execute the model builder - and messages to this effect written
to the execution log. If such fields have nominal storage they
are not being filtered out when they should be, resulting in
    this error on execution.

This is targetted for fix in 14.2 Fix Pack 3
