Error description

  • You work with IBM SPSS Statistics 20 and created a fast rendered
pivot table. Prior to the creation of the table you defined a
custom currency format CCA with a string value for prefix and
suffix with e.g. the command below:

    SET CCA '-, 1st , 1st,'.

After creation of the table you defined another format for CCA
    e.g.

    SET CCA '-, 2nd , 2nd,'.

However, when you like to apply this CCA format to an existing
fast rendered table in Output Viewer manually with cell
properties dialog the second CCA format is not applied.

This was reported to IBM SPSS Development but is functioning as
designed. The behavior is consistent with how we handle
formatting of the table for other values.

At the time the table is created, all options that affect the
table formatting are saved with the table. This means that the
custom-currency values used for formatting the values are those
that were in place when the table was created, not the current
values. This is consistent with how we treat the output
language, the locale settings and the digitgrouping setting.
