Error description
Using the copy function (CTRL C) in CICS PA in EXPLORER when the data is pasted into an EXCEL worksheet or WORD doc or NOTEPAD, the values are rounded to three decimal places. The data display in EXPLORER shows six decimal places with no rounding. So therefore, some data gets rounded down to a zero value. Additional Symptom(s) Search Keyword(s): KIXREVCTC
Local fix
Problem summary
The PA plug-in offers the facility to select data in a table view and copy it to the clipboard. This can then be pasted, for example, into Excel. Although the data is displayed in tables with a precision of 6 decimal places, the copy placed in the clipboard only has a precision of 3 decimal places.
Problem conclusion
The PA plug-in now allows data to be selected in a table view, and for it to be copied and pasted into Excel with a precision of 6 decimal places. This fix will be made available in Versions 5.4.0.1 and 5.3.0.5 of the CICS PA Plug-in.
