* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR introduces CICS support       *
*                      for HTTP OPTIONS.                       *

The HTTP OPTIONS method is not currently supported by CICS Web
domain if anything other than /* is specified. This APAR
provides the support.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • CICS Web domain has been enhanced to support the OPTIONS method
on HTTP requests.
  New messages DFHWB0770 and DFHWB0771 have been introduced as
part of this support.
  The documentation changes for this enhancement will be made
to the next available refresh of the CICS knowledge center.
