Comments
CICS now supports running Node.js applications using IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS v8. CICS no longer supports IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS v6. The following other improvements have been made: - Changes to sample Node.js profiles to reflect recommended practices for using include files containing system-wide configuration. The following CICS Knowledge Center page will be updated to reflect this: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSGMCP_5.5.0/ applications/deploying/node-ivp.html - Enhancements to dump formatting of the NODEJSAPP control block - Fixed a problem that caused NODEJSAPP resource statistics to be corrupted when the NODEJSAPP was DISABLED - Fixed uppercase folding of the BUNDLE field of the NODEJSAP CICSPlex SM resource table when used in CRITERIA expressions The CICS Knowledge Center will also be updated with the description of new message DFHSJ1313 DFHSJ1313 date time applid userid tranid NDOEJSAPP "nodejsapp" was disabled because an unsupported version of IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS was used. CICS requires version "requiredVersion" but found version "foundVersion". Explanation: A NODEJSAPP has been disabled because a version of IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS that is not supported by CICS was found. System Action: The NODEJSAPP resource is placed in disabled state; the Node.js process may have captured additional diagnostics. User Action: Correct NODE_HOME in the Node.js profile to specify a supported version of IBM SDK for Node.js - z/OS Module: DFHSJNA
