Troubleshooting
Problem
When attempting to run a statistical procedure (such as Exact Tests) the procedure terminates with the message, "Cannot be computed because unable to open temporary file."
Symptom
When attempting to run an IBM SPSS Statistics procedure (such as Exact Tests) the procedure terminates with the message, "Cannot be computed because unable to open temporary file."
Cause
This issue was a defect in the product on macOS; since resolved in IBM SPSS Statistics 27.0.1 and the November 2020 Update of IBM SPSS Statistics Subscription for macOS.
