DESCRIPTION: OpenSSL is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a NULL pointer dereference when verifying certificates via a malformed routine. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability using signature verification routines with an absent PSS parameter to cause any certificate verification operation to crash.

DESCRIPTION: OpenSSL is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by a race condition when PSK identity hints are received by a multi-threaded client and the SSL_CTX structure is updated with the incorrect value. IBM Tivoli Composite Application Manager (ITCAM) for Transactions is affected. ITCAM for Transactions contains multiple sub components (Agents). Only the Internet Service Monitoring component (ISM – Agent code ‘IS’) is affected.
