How can an employee access the Employee Portal to view the legal holds the person is involved in?

Question & Answer

Question

How can an employee access the Atlas application Employee Portal to view the legal holds the person is involved in?

Answer

In order to access the Atlas application Employee Portal, the employee needs to go to the correct URL, or web address for the Portal. Please note that the employee must have a person record created in the Atlas application in order to see any information, but the person does NOT need to have a role defined in the application.

To access the Employee Portal, use the following URL:http://server:port/PolicyAtlas/faces/pages/client/communication.jsp

(Replace server and port with the actual hostname and port number for the application.

This will require the employee to authenticate.

The Employee Portal will display the active legal holds that the person is involved in.

A link for the Employee Portal can be added to hold notices by including the variable $EmployeePortalURL. We also recommend adding the Employee Portal as a link on the company's intranet site. The Portal will help employees keep track of their legal obligations.
