APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Recorded scripts in full HD resolution. Inserted 'Maximize
browser window' navigation action at the start of the page.
Still getting small browser window - definitely not 1920x1080
according to the page image taken during the playback.

The maximize functionality is not working when scripts are
getting executed in headless mode, observed this behavior when
Rational Functional Tester is launched with normal user
(non-Administrator).

Problem conclusion


    

  • When you ran a Web UI test in the headless mode in Google
Chrome, the browser was not maximized, and the screen resolution
did not match the resolution that was used while recording the
test.
This problem can be fixed by specifying the screen resolution by
using the Launch browser arguments option in the Run
configuration dialog.
