Problem conclusion

Temporary fix

  • Please follow the following steps to fix the problem:
       1. Get hold of the V7.0.0.0 full WASND Multilingual DVD for
    your
platform that come with your WBE V7.0/V.7.0.1 DVD bundle (or
    you can down load the
image from Passport Advantage web site).
       2. Run the WASND installer against your WBE WASND
    installation.
       3. The installer will then detect that you don't have WAS NLS
    supports
in your installatoin and it will offer you the options to add
    features your
installation. You need to make sure that you point the
installer the right location where your WBE WASND is installed.
       4. Select both the Install non-English language packages for
the administration console and the Install non-English language
packages for the application server runtime ... options and
    proceed.
       5. Before the upgrade starts, you will be warned that you
    will need to reapply
WASND fix packs to at least your current WAS level, which is
    V7.0.0.7 or
higher if you have already upgraded from V7.0.0.7. Accept
    the warning
       and carry on.
       6. Once the upgrade is comelted, download the WASND V7.0.0.7
    fix pack from
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg24024582
(or a higher level fix pack from
    http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27004980#ver70)
    together
       with the associated Update Installer.
       7. Follow the WAS Update Installer instruction to install the
    Update
Installer and then install the downloaded WAS fix pack using
    the
       Update installer.
       8. Restart your WAS server and you should then see the
    problem being
       fixed.
