Error description
In BS 7115 with additional language being French and Base Language being English, when user profile is set to FR, that user makes a change of the label in App Designer in WOTRACK i.e change DESCRIPTION TO TEST, then when another user with profile set to English logs into WO app and see the label as NULL value rather than TEST. But if users with FR profile logs in then they can see the correct changes. Also if changes are made with user being profile in English , then the changes are displayed correctly. It only happens when changes are made in App designer when logging as additional language profile. If I change something in base language this label is visible in all other languages - without any need to translate it. Step by step to reproduce the problem in out of box BS 7115 with Latest HF 1.) User WILSON have in profile set Language FR 2.) This user goes to the application designer, 3.) In the application designer he changes the name of the label of the field from Description to TEST Result: 1.) All users which have in their profile set the language to FR see the label ok. 2.) The users which have in their profile set the language to EN (English) see the value Null instead of TEST. ----------------------------------------------------------------
Local fix
Workaround provided by L2 Support ================================== You can log in as ENG user profile and export the presentation XML and then make the changes there then import back in...then when logging as ENG profile, users will see the correct changes but this is not a valid workaround because this needs to be done everytime when making new changes for another label in another language rather than Base language.

Problem conclusion
This is not a bug. Maximo doesn't support changing values in another language other than the current user's language. If the user adds a label in French, the English value needs to be added by logging in as an English user.
