Error description

  • PROBLEM:
Electronic Signature not working for "Set Security Profile" on
Users application when selecting multiple users.
If you select multiple users then it
appears to use the USERSECUREGROUP table, but if you have a
single record it uses the GROUPUSER table.

    PERFORMANCE ISSUE:

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Setup ESIG: Goto Database Configuration application and from
    More
Actions select "Manage eSig Actions". In the top portion of
    the
screen filter for the Users application and then in the options
    section
in the bottom half of the screen check the "Set Security
    Profile"
    option.

    Testing:
Go to the Users application and filter for "cal" which in the
    demo
database brings up two users. Then click on "Set Security
    Profile" and
it will tell you that 2 users have been selected. Click ok. In
    the
Security Profile screen with Add selected, click on New Row and
    select
a security group and then click OK. It will complete and tell
you 2 of 2 users were processed but no electronic signature
    option will appear (not correct).

If however you go to the Users application and select a single
    user and
once the record is showing click on the "Set Security Profile"
    action
and try to add a group, it will prompt you for Electronic
Signature Authentication when you click ok (correct).

    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
Electronic Signature authentication not working for multiple
users with Set Security Profile action.

    EXPECTED RESULT:
Should work with multiple users as well as when a single record
    is in use.
