IV98239: IN 7.6. IF SIGOPTION IS SET ON TABLE LEVEL, IT DOESN'T REFRESH IMMEDITALY, ONLY BY REFRESHING INTERFACE

Error description

• Problem details:

  In 7.6. if sigoption is set on table level, it doesn't refresh
  immeditaly, only by refreshing interface.

  1. Lgin in as MAXADMIN
  
  2. Go to Conditional Expression Manager --> Create a new
  condition called IBM TEST
  Expression = :DESCRIPTION = 'TEST'
  
  3. Save changes and Go to App Designer-->PO-->Create a sig
  option called "TEST PMR"
  
  4. Click on PO Lines tab--> Highlight tablebody PO LInes-->
  bring up Table Properties --> Click on Advanced tab and select
  Sig Option = TEST and Sig Option Data Source ID: = MAINRECORD.
  
  5. Click on Configure Conditional & set the following:
  
  Security groups = MAXADMIN
  Conditions for secuirty Group = IBM TEST
  Property Values for Condition / Condition is true
  Property = display / Value = true
  Property Values for Condition / Condition is false
  Property = display / Value = false
  
  6. Click OK and Save changes
  
  7. Go to Security group --> MAXADMIN -->Click on Application
  tab-->Purchase -->Filter for "TEST PMR" and give Grant Access.
  
  8. Save changes
  
  9. Go to Purchase Order --> choose an existing record --> click
  on POlines tab
  
  You will see PO Lines table section is not displayed because
  here the condition is false. This is working fine.
  
  10 Now create a new PO record with description = TEST  and save.
  
  PROBLEM: You will notice the PO Lines table section is still not
  displayed despite the condition being true.
  
  11. Now click on a diffrent tab i.e Terms & Conditions and
  click back on the PO Lines tab again. Now you will see PO Lines
  table section is finally displayed.
  
  The issue here is that you have to click on another tab in
  application and return to Po lInes tab for the table to become
  visible. It happens in all applications.
  
  Same behavior if you put sigotion on pushbuttons.

Local fix

• Put the condition directly on the
  sigoption. We deleted the sigoption from the table's
  conditional properties.  We then went to the security group and
  modified the security for the work order
  application.  We put the condition directly on the new
  sigoption there. Then log out and back in and it will work as
  you'd expect
