Error description

  • PROBLEM:
Global Data Restriction of QUALIFIED does not take effect on the
"More Search Fields dialog when the object being searched
    is CLASSSTRUCTURE

    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: no

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
(Recreate Steps for TPAE only machine)
    1) Create a GDR like this:
    OBJECT: CLASSSTRUCTURE
APP: WOTRACK (also done it in SR)
    Type: QUALIFIED
    Reeval: yes
    Condition: :classificationid = 'BTTRFLY'

    2) Now create another GDR all the same except these:
    OBJECT: ASSET
    Condition: :serialnum = 'A'

    3) Make sure you have an Asset with SerialNum set to 'A' and a
Classification for Workorders with the classificationid set to
    'BTTRFLY'

    4) Notice in the WO app that the Assets selection is restricted
to just the Assets you set in step 3. Also notice the list of
Assets is still restricted when you try to select from it in
the "More Search Fields" dialog box.

    5) Now try the same with the Classification field. From the
field the "Classify" option is correctly limited by the GDR.
But from the "More Search Fields" dialog when you choose
"Select Classification" it lists all classifications and
    ignores the GDR.

    (Recreate on SCCD:)
    1) Create a GDR like this:
    OBJECT: CLASSSTRUCTURE
APP: WOTRACK (also done it in SR)
    Type: QUALIFIED
    Reeval: yes
    Condition: :indicatedpriority = 1

    2) Now create another GDR all the same except these:
    OBJECT: ASSET
    Condition: :serialnum = 'A'

    3) Make sure you have an Asset with SerialNum set to 'A' and a
Classification for Workorders with a priority set to 1.

    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
Classification does not get limited by GDR.
Not sure why it happens for CLASSSTRUCTURE but not ASSET object.

    EXPECTED RESULT:
Classification works the same as Assets and all other objects
on the More Data Fields dialog when a GDR applies to it.

    ADDITIONAL INFO:
    none

    ENVIRONMENT:
    - SCCD: 7513
    - TPAE: 7508
