IV97200: APPLYING A TICKET TEMPLATE TO A SERVICE REQUEST FAILS WITH AN ERROR

APAR status

Error description

  • In Service Request application, when you apply a Service
    Request template, you will get this error:
    BMXAA4183E - Constructor not found. Use database configuration
    to check the field class registered and ensure that it is valid
    and included in the deployment.
    
    Steps to Replicate:
    A. Create a Ticket Template
    1. Go to Service Desk > Ticket Templates > Create new record
    Template: 1010
    Description: Test template
    Class: SR
    2. Save > Change status to ACTIVE

    1. Go to Service Desk > Service Requests > Create new record
    Just fill in the Reported By field: e.g. WILSON
    2. Save
    3. Select Action > Apply Service Request Template
    4. In Apply Service Request Template window, pick the template
    we created (1010)
    5. Click OK - then the error will appear.
