Error description

  • Problem Description:
    When creating from within the "Create Requisition" application,
    and after completing the mandatory required fields, at the end
    of the process, when trying to click "Continue" the following
    error is encountered:
    BMXAA2967E - A requisition line must have at least one MRCost
    line associated with it. More information

    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Go to Self Service > Desktop Requisitions > Create
    Requisition application > create a new Requisition
    2. Go to the GL Debit Account > insert value
    3. Click on the "Continue" button
    4. Now insert a "New Row" from the Requisition Line Items area
    5. Line: 1; Line Type: Item; Item: 11R22.5GT-7; Quantity:1;
    Order Unit: INCH;
    6. Click on "Continue"

    RESULTS:
    This action is working OK for Maximo 7.6.0.9 but not for Maximo
    7.6.1 where the user received the following error:

    "BMXAA2967E - A requisition line must have at least one MRCost
    line associated with it. More information" and cannot continue
    (save) by any means.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    When clicking continue, the user should be
    taken to the Requisition Line Items area showing and reflecting
    the last selected Item (for example: 11R22.5GT-7)

    REPORTED IN VERSION:
    Maximo Asset Management 7.6.1.0

Local fix

  • This behavior can we overcome by first saving the Requisition
    and afterwards exporting the Requisition Line items; however,
    the client would have a use case scenario when the data needs
    to be exported before saving the actual Requisition.
