IJ14007: LONG DESCRIPTION IS TRUNCATED AFTER RUNNING UPDATERICHTEXT.BAT

Error description

• PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When running the UpdateRichText.bat utility to convert plain
  text to rich text for a Long Description record, if there are
  many space lines between two lines, the data after the multiple
  spaces will be truncated.
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Import an xml file via External System to update the Long
  Description as below for a Purchase Contract record (below is
  sample data):
  AAAAAA
  BBBBBB
  CCCCCC
  DDDDDDDDDDD
  
  2. After import, the Long Description has been updated in the
  database as below:
  AAAAAA
  BBBBBB
  CCCCCC
  DDDDDDDDDDD
  
  3. In the Purchase Contracts application, this Long Description
  is being displayed by wrong format as below:
  AAAAAA BBBBBB CCCCCC DDDDDDDDDDD
  
  4. Stop the MXServer and run the following command:
  c:\IBM\SMP\maximo\tools\maximo>updateRichText.bat
  Check the database, you can see the Long Description has been
  converted into:
  
  AAAAAA<br /><br /><br /><br /> BBBBBB<br /><br /><br /><br />
  CCCCCC<!-- RICH TEXT -->
  
  
  RESULT:
  The "DDDDDDDDDDD" text has been truncated from the Long
  Description.
  
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The Long Description should be converted to:
  AAAAAA<br /><br /><br /><br />BBBBBB<br /><br /><br /><br />
  CCCCCC<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br
  />DDDDDDDDDDD<!-- RICH TEXT -->
