IJ12949: WHEN MAKING FIELD READONLY IN 7.6.1 AND USING IOT18 SKIN THE FIELD DOESN'T CHANGE COLOR.

APAR status

Error description

• When making a field read only in 7.6.1 and using the iot18 skin
  the field does not change grey (denoting read only) like it
  does in previous versions of Maximo.
  Asset / Main Tab / 2 fields added / read only & not read only
  You cannot tell which is which due to the read only field does
  not shade grey like it does in 7.6.0.9 and previous Maximo
  versions. If you change the property (mxe.webclient.skin) to
  the old look - tivoli13 you will see that the field that is
  read only will now display with the shaded grey color.
  Steps to Reproduce:
  Login to Maximo 7.6.1
  Go to AD
  Select Asset
  Main Tab
  Add 2 multiline text boxes.
  Select a attribute
  Make one read only and the other not read only
  Save.
  log out.
  Log back in and go to Asset.
  You will see your fields and will not be able to tell the 2
  fields apart.
  Go to System Propertis
  find mxe.webclient.skin and change the global value from iot18
  to tivoli13.
  Save. Live refresh.
  Log out then back in.
  Go to Asset.
  The fields you added will now display with one being grey (read
  only) and the other will not.
