Error description
Problem Description: When Service receipts in Waiting for Inspection status are rejected, the system is not calculating the Tax Amount correctly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1. Go to Organizations application. 2. Bring up EAGLENA Organization. 3. From More Actions menu, select Purchasing Options > Tax Options. 4. From Tax Options dialog, create a new Tax as the following: Tax Code: TAX10 Tax Rate: 10.00 Effective Date: the system date 5. Go to Purchase Orders application. 6. Create a new PO against any valid Vendor with just 01 PO Line as the following: Line Type: SERVICE Description: any valid description Inspection Required: Yes Quantity: 1000.00 Order Unit: EACH Unit Cost: 1.00 Tax Code: TAX10 Charge To > GL Debit Account: any valid GL Account 7. Save, approve PO and take note of its number. 8. Go to Receiving application. 9. Bring up the PO above, go to Service Receipts tab and click on Select Ordered Services. 10. From Select Ordered Services dialog, select the line, change the Quantity Due to 100.00 and click OK. 11. Save the record. 12. From More Actions menu, select Change Inspection Status. 13. From Change Inspection Status dialog, go to Service Receipts tab, select the line, change Rejected Quantity to 100.00 and click OK. 14. With the Service Receipts on the screen, click on View Details of the RECEIPT line type (the line whose Quantity is positive). 15. Note that the Tax Amount of the RECEIPT is calculated as 10.00. This is correct. 16. Now click on View Details of the RETURN line type (the line whose Quantity is negative). RESULTS: Note that the Tax Amount of the RETURN is wrongly calculated as 90.00. This is the issue. EXPECTED RESULTS: The Tax Amount of the RETURN should also be 10.00. REPORTED IN VERSION: IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.8
