Error description
The Asset Spare Parts Issuedqty not being updated for a Direct Issue. When ordering a spare part on a Purchase Order and making it a direct issue to an Asset, the Issuedqty does not get updated for an Asset on the Spare Parts tab in the Assets application. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to Inventory Item Master Create item Test12 tick the Add as Spare Part checkbox Change the status of the item Test12 to ACTIVE using Change Status from Common Actions. Change Status in Item Organization Details from More Actions. Use Add Items to Storeroom from More Actions create an Inventory record for the item and associate with a Storeroom Central Click OK Item Test12 Issue Cost Type Average Unit Cost 0.00 Issue Unit Each Order Unit Each Click Ok 2. Go to Purchasing Purchasing Orders and Create a PO 1114 Add a Vendor EMI Tab to POLines tab Click New Row and add the Item Test12 add the Unit and Line cost Unit Cost 25.00 Line Cost 25.00 tick the Issue on Receipt checkbox so its a direct issue Under Quantity and Cost Enter an Asset to issue the item to Asset TEST101 Approve the PO 1114 using Change Status from Common Actions. 3. Go to Purchasing Receiving Application Enter the PO 1114 Click New Row enter the 1 in the POLine Tab and Save. The Received Cost will display 25.00 Receipts is now Complete. 4. Go to Asset Asset Test101 which was specified on the PO 1114 click on the Spare Parts tab. The item will be added as a spare part against the Asset but the IssuedQty is 0.00 instead of the amount that was receipted 25.00. EXPECTED RESULTS: The Asset Spare Parts IssuedQty should be updated to reflict the Direct Issue check box was ticked when a Purchase Order was COMPLETED.
