IJ11513: WORK IS NOT SHOWING AS INTERRUPTIBLE IN GRAPHICAL ASSIGNMENT BUT IS IN THE GRAPHICAL SCHEDULING APPLICATION.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The work is not showing as interruptible in the Graphical
  Assignment (GA) application Workview Tab, but is showing as
  interruptible in the Graphical Scheduling application.
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Go to WO Tracking, create a WO.
  2.. Set Duration of 6 hours.
  3. Check the Interruptible check box.
  4. Fill in the "Interruptible shift" field (eg. Day shift).
  5. Add some tasks to the WO including Estimated Duration.
  7. In the scheduling section, Check the "Include in Schedule"
  check box.
  8. On the Labor sub-tab, add a craft, quantity, Save.
  
  9.. Go to the Graphical Scheduling (GS) app. and create a
  Schedule (called FARMING)
  10. Add a Calendar (24HOUR in this case)
  11. Add a Shift (Day-7 in this case - a 12 hour shift)
  12. In the "Work Queries" section add a Query Name and a Where
  condition to display the Work Order you created above.
  13. Go to the Graphical View tab and view the work.
  14. Drag the duration of the task so that it starts in one
  shift, is interrupted by an off-shift period and ends in the
  next shift.
  15. Perform a Critical Path Method (CPM) by selecting the
  button from the toolbar.
  16. You can see that the work is shown as interruptible (it is
  interrupted by the off-shift time). This is expected.
  17. Go to the Graphical Assignment (GA) app.
  18. Go to More Actions and select Create a Work List from
  Schedule and select the FARMING schedule you created earlier to
  bring it into the GA app. Save.
  19. Go to the Assignment View Tab.
  20. Assign the work to someone (Adams in this case).
  21. The work is not showing as interruptible. This is NOT
  expected.
  
  RESULTS:
  The work is not showing as interruptible in the GA app Workview
  Tab, but is showing as interruptible in the GS application.
  EXPECTED RESULTS:
  The GA app should show also show the work as interruptible.
