  Unable to select result suggested by type-ahead using special
  characters
  
  
  Problem details:
  =================
  In a lookup field, if we start typing letter 'F' we get a
  suggestion list below where the values starts with F. We are
  unable to choose a value with any special character(Eg:F1-Ö)
  which involves a swedish character (or other type of special
  characters).
  If selected and pressed tab, we get the below error message:
  
  F is not valid. (BMXAA8284E) More information
  
  Click "Edit My Value" to change the value you entered or "Go
  Back" to the value that was there before.

  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  ===================
  Prereqs:
  
  - Configure the type ahead feature for Calendar field on Asset
  Application following the info from here: http://www-
  01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21613970
  
  - Make sure English is the base Language and Sverige(Sweedish)
  is second Language
  
  
  Steps:
  
  1. Login with Wilson
  2. In the Default Information window set Language to EN and
  Locale to sv
  3. Go to Administration-Calendars
  
    New Calendar F1Ö (make sure the special characters is there)
    Start Date 2018-09-19
    End date 2019-09-25
  
    Save
  4. Go to Assets Assets
    New Asset TEST
  5. In the Calendar field, enter F
  6. Click on F1
    Tab out
  7. An error will be displayed on lick on red X:
