APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    Communication Template not saving after adding to the action
    properties in Workflow.
    
    When the client tried to add a communication template to the
    action properties
    in Work Flow user can add the Communication Template and then
    save. If the user goes back to
    workflow the communication template that was saved is gone.  It
    does however show up
    in the database.
    
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE:
    NO
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    Login to Maximo.
    Open Workflow designer
    Create a new workflow or use a existing one.
    Double click on the orange process line.
    It will bring up action properties.
    Select new row under notifications.
    Select a valid comm template then Okay.
    Select Save button. You will see the message that the record
    has been
    saved.
    Go back and click on orange process line again then select
    properties
    again.
    Your comm template you added and saved will no longer be
    associated to
    the record.
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    Not saving the selection

    Save the selection
