Error description

  • On Graphical Assignment (GA) when you have an existing Work
List (WL) that shows a Labor under CraftA, if you change the
Default Craft for that Labor to CraftB, that change is not
shown on the Assignment View tab. The Labor is still listed
under CraftA. Refresh WL should update the Assignment View
    tab but it does not.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Create a new WO with duration of 5 and give it two Planned
Labor rows, one for ELECT and one for MECH.
    2. In GA create a new WL for that WO for Calendar DAY and Shift
    DAY. Save.
    3. On the Assignment View tab you will see the 2 Crafts, ELECT
and MECH, with the Labor on the DAY shift listed with each one.
    4. Pick out one of the Labor under ELECT. Go To Labor and
change its Default Craft from ELECT to MECH.
    5. Return to GA and you will see that it is still listed under
    ELECT.
    6. Refresh the WL. You will see that it is still listed under
    ELECT.

    UNEXPECTED RESULTS:

That the Labor is still listed under ELECT. After Refresh it
    should be under MECH.

    EXPECTED RESULTS:

After Refresh the Labor should move from ELECT to MECH.
The only thing that will move it is to Duplicate WL. The new
WL will show the Labor under MECH.

    PRODUCT VERSION:
    Maximo 7.6.0.9, 7.6.1.0

Local fix

  • Duplicate the WL. This should not be necessary or seen as a
    viable workaround.
