IJ05844: CANNOT CLOSE THE DEFINE OPERATIONAL SCHEDULE DIALOG FROM LOCATIONS APPLICATION

APAR status

Error description

  • STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1 Open Locations application. On a blank list tab, without
    searching for any location, select Location Availability ->
    Define Maintenance Schedule
    
    2 if nothing happens, select Location Availability -> Define
    operational Schedule
    
    A message appears stating that user does not have privilege to
    run this action.
    
    BMXAA0029E - You are not authorized to perform this action for
    this record. Contact your system administrator to request
    changes to your authorization.
    
    Another dialog for "Define Location Maintenance" appears in the
    background.
    
    3 Click ok to the dialog box about the "privilege".
    
    The dialog behind has only 2 buttons (Ok and Cancel).
    
    4 click OK , nothing happens
    
    5 click the Cancel button, nothing happens
    
    The only possible action for user is to close the browser.
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT: The issue is that after they click OK
    on that message, there is no way for them to go back to using
    Maximo and the only thing they can do is to close the browser.
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:  User should not have to close the browser
    
    
    PRODUCT VERSION:
    Maximo Asset Management 7.6.0.8 with Scheduler 7.6.5
