IJ05384: IMAGE NOT LOADING WHEN USING ENDPOINTNAME AND IMGURI FROM IMGLIB TABLE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Image is not showing or error 500 will be thrown when you "View
  Image" from a record (for example: Asset, Item Master).
  
  PROBLEM:
  "View Image" does not show images stored in an external
  repository like web server when loading through IMGLIB table
  using two attributes - IMGURI and ENDPOINTNAME.
  
  PERFORMANCE ISSUE:  No
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  1. Store an image to a web server
  
  For example: http://maximotest.com/images/picture.jpg
  
  2. Create an endpoint to Maximo called IMGURI
  
  3. Insert IMGLIB table record with reference to a record like
  Asset.
  
  Required columns are:
  
  IMGLIBID, REFOBJECT, REFOBJECTID, IMAGENAME, MIMETYPE,
  ROWSTAMP, IMGURI, ENDPOINTNAME
  
  Please note that IMGURI must be the full image uri including
  file name.
  
  http://maximotest.com/images/picture.jpg
  
  4. Try to access the image through OSLC and the image will load.
  
  For example, http://maximotest.com/maximo/oslc/images/143
  
  143 is the IMGLIBID
  
  5. Go to Asset application and open the record that has
  reference from step 3.
  
  6. Click "View Image" and image will not show.
  
  From developer tools, the response from the request was
  NullPointerException error 500.

  EXPECTED RESULT:
