Error description

  • Environment:
    TPAE 7609

    Reproduction Steps:

    1. Go to Assets --> Create a new Asset (MetAsset4)
    - save

    2. Go to the Meters tab and add a meter of type CONTINUOUS
    - RUNHOURS
    - Unit of Measure - Hours
    - Active - Checked
    - Average Calculation Method - All
    - Reading Type - Actual
    - Accept Rolldown from - Asset

    - DO NOT SAVE this record yet.

    3. In the Meters tab itself, enter the following values in the
    order below:
    - Last Reading Date : 17th Oct 2017
    - Last Reading : 842
    - Last Reading Inspector - maxadmin

***The key to reproducing this is that you enter the Last
Reading Date BEFORE you enter the Last Reading. Provide a Last
    Reading Date that is
in the past. THEN enter the Last Reading and Last Reading
    Inspector.

    4. Now save the new asset and the associated meter.

    5. More actions --> Enter Meter Readings dialog
    - Meter - RUNHOURS
    - Last Reading - 1316
    - Last Reading - 27th Dec 2017

    Click ok.

You will notice that the Average Unit/day has turned negative -
    -5.18 (THIS IS THE ISSUE)
Hence, the PMR's assocated with Assets with negative Average
Units/Day value creates numerous unnecessary work orders.

    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:

    - Entering meter reading on an unsaved meter causes an negative
    Average Units/Day value.

    EXPECTED RESULT:
    - Average Units/day should not be negative.
