Error description

  • Problem Details:
The PM Work Order does not change its status to Cancelled if
the status change action is selected to run in the background.
Instead, the process does not complete because the default
response is to cancel, and this is suppressed.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    -Log in to maxdemo instance
-Go To Work ORders | Work ORder Tracking
-In the Status field enter "wsch" and press Enter
-Click the Asset column header to sort
-Click to open any record for an Asset that appears once in the
table - to avoid operating on multiple Work Orders
    -Common Actions | Change Status
-In the New Status field use the drop-down arrow and click In
    Progress
-Click the checkbox for "Change work order status in the
    background?"
    -Click OK
-Observe message indicating that the status was changed
    successfully
-On the List View tab | Work Order field | enter the number ot
the Work Order that you just updated, then press Enter
-View the Status field, or click the reocrd to open it
    *Status is not updated
*Message appears in logging, "BMXAA8233I - Do you want to
reinstate the preventive maintenance record while you are
    canceling the PM work order?"

Summary: the default response to the suppressed dialog is to
cancel the status change; this is not visible when changing
    status in the background.
