Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    Maximo 7608 takes 10 to 12 minutes to start using WAS 9
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE:
    Yes
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
        1. If we have to manually create these properties at server
    level, that may create issues in the later time in case if we
    have to deploy some other application to the server.
    
    
        2. What I am looking is application level (maximo.ear).
                     Refer to this document and about setting
    properties in the manifest file.

        In addition to these Java custom properties that impact all
    applications
    
        that are deployed to the target server, the following
    properties can be set in the server-wide amm.filter.properties
    file and as manifest attributes of application archive file
    
        System Property Name:
    com.ibm.ws.cdi.enableImplicitBeanArchives      Property and
    Manifest Attribute Name: Enable-Implicit-Bean-Archive
        System Property Name: com.ibm.ws.cdi.enableCDI
             Property and Manifest Attribute Name: Enable-CDI
    
    
        4. Based on the IBM above document I updated the
    manifest.mf under
    
        SMP\maximo\deployment\default\maximo.ear\META-INF\
    
        Enable-Implicit-Bean-Archive: false
    
    
        Enable-CDI: false
    
        What I am looking for is part of the build process that
    creates the
    
        Manifest.mf
    
        5. IBM agrees that Maximo 7.6 is supported on WAS 9.0, if
    
    
    
    
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    
    Maximo 7608 starts faster
