IJ03967: SCHEDULING APPLICATIONS - PRINTING DOES NOT RETAIN THE GANTT CHART PRINT OPTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• With Scheduler 7.6.7 the Print Options for Columns are not
  retained if the user leaves the application and comes back in.
  In Scheduler 7.6.5 they were saved.
  
  This APAR is very similar to APAR IJ02677 entered for an
  earlier PMR.   That one said none of the Print Options were
  saved.   We fixed it and now just the Gantt Chart Print
  Option is not being saved from one time to the next as it
  should be.
  
  I reproduced this with 7.6.0.9 IFix 001.   It affects Graphical
  Assignment and Graphical Scheduling - Large Projects, too.
  
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Create a Schedule for any set of Work Orders.
  2. Save and go to the Graphical View tab.
  3. Click on the Print Grid icon (little printer) to open the
  Print Options dialog box.
  4. Change the Print Option for the Gantt Chart checkbox (its in
  a section of its own under the Choose Columns section).
  Remember what you set it to.
  5. Click ok to create the report.    You can cancel the preview.
  6. Click on the Clear Changes button (pencil and eraser) or go
  to the Start Center.
  7. Reopen your schedule.
  8. Click on the Print Grid button on the Graphical View.
  
  Now you see the problem.    The Print Option for Gantt Chart has
  reset to what it had been before you changed it.
  It should not have reset, it should have stayed the way you set
  it.
