Error description

  • Steps to replicate
    Login with UserName and Password in Maximo
    
    Creating New Inventory Usage Record
    1.Goto  Inventory Inventory Usage
    2.Click on New Record Icon (Highlighted on Top Left)
    3.Change the Usage Type to Transfer
    4.Click on the Detail value button of From Storeroom Field.
    Click on
    Select Value and select any Storeroom.
    5.Click on New Row in Usage Lines Section
    6.In the Item Field enter/Select a valid item by clicking on
    Detail
    menu of Item Field and select value select an item
    8. Here you can see the Unit Cost Field and Line Cost fields in
    Quantity and Costs section are auto-populated with a value when
    Item is
    entered
    7.Enter To Storeroom value in Transfer Details Section by
    clicking on
    Detail menu of To Storeroom Field Select value and select a
    Storeroom
    8. Save the Record by clicking the Save icon (Highlighted on
    Top Left)
    9. Now Change the Status to Shipped from Entered using Change
    Status
    Action
    10.Create Shipment Window opens Note the Shipment Number and
    click on
    OK
    11.Now Go to Shipment Receiving Application
    
    
    Navigating to Shipment Receiving Application, Receiving the
    Item and
    Navigating to Inventory Usage Application
    1.Goto Inventory Shipment Receiving
    2.Search for the Shipment record using the Noted Shipment
    number while
    creating the New Inventory Usage record
    3.Open the Record. Click on Select Shipped Items button in
    Shipment
    Receipts Section
    4.Select Check box of respective Shipment Line and click OK
    button
    5.Save the Record
    
    6 and 7 steps Necessary if Status of Receipt is WINSP otherwise
    skip to
    step 8
    
    6.Status of the Shipment Line will be WINSP so change it to
    Complete
    using Change Inspection Status Action
    7.Click on Change Inspection Status Action and Select the Check
    box and
    Click OK
    
    8.Now Status will be shown as COMPLETE
    9.Now expand the line Details using view Details button in
    Shipment
    Receipts Section and Click on Detail menu Icon of the Inventory
    Usage
    Field and click on Go To Inventory Usage
    10.It will take us to Inventory Usage application.
    Expand the Usage Lines to see the Unit cost and Line Cost.
    RESULT
    Both of them show 0 (Zero) a different value from what we have
    seen
    before while creating Inventory Usage record. Click on Return
    (on the
    Top Right corner) to go back to Shipment Receiving Application.
